Laser
Hair Removal
How does it work?
Laser Hair removal works without a light that is selectively absorbed by melanin, the pigment in the hair follicle. The light energy heats the pigment and effectively destroys the hair follicle without damaging the surrounding cells.
How is it carried out?
The applicator is placed on the skin and a short pulse of light is released, which targets many follicles simultaneously. The applicator is then moved to the neighbouring area of skin and the process is repeated until the entire area is treated. The treatments can take as little as 10 minutes to carry out, depending on the area and is conducted every 4-8 weeks until a satisfactory result is seen.
A consultation is required before treatment to confirm you are a suitable candidate for laser hair removal.
Prices
Prices range from the cheapest being an upper lip at £55 per treatment to full leg and bikini at £300, Discounts of 20% are offered for 6 sessions booked in advance.
Skin Rejuvenation
How does it work?
Controlled, short pulses of light are released that target discolouration to create a more youthful, even complex. In addition, this light results in the stimulation of the fibroblast cells, leading to increased production of new collagen and elastin. This improves the texture of the skin, evening out lumps and bumps whilst reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
How is it carried out?
The process will include a light applicator that is placed onto the skin and as short pulse of light is released. The handpiece is then moved to the neighbouring area and repeated until the entire area is treated. Treatments take typically 20-45minutes and need to be carried out every 2-4 weeks for 3 to 6 treatments.
After the treatment there will be some redness and a slight warming sensation, a cooling pack will be applied to calm the skin and during the treatment eye wear will be provided.
Upon the treatment a consultation beforehand is required to allow to treatment to be tailored for you.

Acne
How does it work?
Light is emitted from the intense pulsed light system directly targeting overactive sebaceous glands, greatly reducing the total number and severity of active lesions, and lessening the inflammation and occurrence of breakouts. The light stimulates the production of new collagen to improve skin texture, and can also reduce the appearance of red or brown areas of the skin.
How is it carried out?
A layer of chilled gel is applied to the skin to help guide the light. The light guide is placed onto the skin and a short pulse of light is released. The applicator is passed over the skin times before moving onto the neighbouring area, and the process is repeated until the whole area is treated. Each pulse of light treats a large area of skin and so the duration of the treatment is very short. The gel is removed and the skin is moisturised. Eye protection will be provided
Each session takes around 30 minutes and a typical person many need over 6 treatments to see a significant improvement. A consultation is required upon the treatment.

Red Vein Removal
How does it work?
Light energy is applied to the skin where it is readily absorbed by blood vessels, heating them to a point where they are destroyed. Following treatment, the vessels quickly clear as they are reabsorbed by the body, leaving little to no trace of the original lesion
How is it carried out?
The light applicator is placed on the skin and a short pulse of light is released. The applicator is moved to the neighbouring area and the process is repeated until the entire area is treated. During treatment, protective eyewear will be provided.
The treatment typically takes 15 to 45 minutes and 3-5 treatments may be required for optimum results.

Pigment Removal
How does it work?
Light Is released in short pulses that are readily absorbed by the high concentration of melanin found within pigmented lesions. The rapid absorption of light energy heats the melanin and causes the destruction of the melanin-rich cells.
How is it carried out?
The light applicator is placed on the skin and a short pulse of light is released. The applicator is then moved to the neighbouring area and the process is repeated until the entire area is treated. During treatment, protective eyewear will be provided.
Typical sessions take 10 to 30 minutes and 1-3 treatments may be requited with 4–6-week intervals.
